Compassion Action Network
In an effort to make the Compassion Action Network (CAN) website more useful, as well as user-friendly, the CAN Board made the website redesign project a priority for 2009. As with many volunteer organizations, we looked for a professional web designer who would donate their time and expertise renovating our website. We were fortunate to connect with Marina through VolunteerMatch.org. Using modern technology (Skype, email, and even Facebook) to communicate with our overseas expert presented its own challenges, but Marina's wonderful sense of humor and her dedication to the project made it enjoyable, as well as successful.
